Experienced CAD Technician
We are seeking an experienced engineering technician to join our team. This is a full-time hourly position.
Typical job responsibilities include:

Preparing engineering design drawings for private and public improvements, including plan/profile and dynamic piping
-
Coordinating with engineering and planning staff on multi-faceted projects.

Work with survey consultants on plats, design, topo, and construction staking.

Construction inspection and reports for public improvement projects.
What we offer:

Hourly wage commensurate with experience.

Overtime as needed (paid at overtime rate).

8 paid holidays, PTO after 6 months, health and vision insurance after 2 months.
Preferred qualifications:

AutoCAD skills with Civil 3D experience (required).

At least 2 years experience in engineering and construction environments (including internships).

Good project organization skills with the ability to track multiple projects.

General computer skills including proficiency in Word, Excel, Adobe Pro, File Management.

Good communication skills, both oral and written.

Construction inspection experience a plus.

Experience reading technical documents (City codes, building plans, etc).

Experience with survey plats and documents a plus!
Engineer in Training (EIT)
We are seeking a professional civil engineer or engineer in training (EIT) at this time with a primary interest in development projects and water resources. This is a full-time salaried position.
Typical Job Responsibilities:

Designing public and private infrastructure related to development projects, including grading plans, roadway design, wastewater systems, stormwater management plans, water distribution systems, lighting, and erosion control plans.

Developing computer models and calculations for stormwater, wastewater, and water systems.
-
Preparing design and analysis reports for projects.
-
Working collaboratively with other designers and technicians to complete all aspects of projects.
-
Project management and planning.
-
Working with surveyors to incorporate field data into engineering projects.

Construction engineering and inspection.
-
Working with AutoCAD Civil 3D, HydroCAD, Visual 3D Lighting, and Bentley Modeling software.

Working outside on project sites occasionally.

Minimum requirements for this position:

One year of experience working in a civil engineering field (internship acceptable).

Engineer in Training (EIT) Certificate

AutoCAD skills - Civil 3D experience preferred.

Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering.

Good project organization skills, for tracking of multiple projects.

General computer skills including Word, Excel, Adobe Pro, File Management.
